An Ode to an Old Man
I have spent more than a week in the Appling Behavioral Health unit in the small town of Baxley, Georgia. It should be renamed "'Hell'". And I am filing a case of fraud against the agency. I still do not believe I should have been sent there. I am in my right mind m filing and returned stronger and even more determined to find a small plot of land and a prefab home. I had come here for physical therapy and to see the grandchildren more often. And a doctor whom I have seen maybe three times for less than 30 seconds each time, put me on a 10-13, and had me forced into an ambulance, taking me hours from home. I am still seeking legal advice. I had been marked as defiant, aggressive, and having assaulted my roommate.
